Pressure Washing Tips for homeowners
If you ignore the pressure you must apply for several types of surfaces, mostly you can damage the surfaces such as driveways, patios, or even vehicles, by incorrect pressure washing.
Using a pressure washer with the incorrect tip or using too much pressure or a combination of both may damage your property.
Depending on the type of surface, different levels of PSI (Pounds per square inch) are recommended:
- Vehicles – 1500 PSI.
- Trucks, trailers, tractors – 1800 PSI.
- Platforms, walls, fences – 2000 PSI.
- Large surfaces, patios, concrete – 3000/3500 PSI.
